Privacy Policy
Effective June 10, 2026. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we run no analytics or ad trackers, and our free tools never phone home.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers parkstreetpost.com and the free, open-source tools published by Park Street Post, Inc. (Burbank, California). Our paid software is sold on a separate site, parkstreetpostsoftware.com, which has its own privacy policy covering purchases and licensing.
2. The website
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operations. We run no analytics, no advertising trackers, and set no cookies on the public pages. A session cookie exists only on our private operator console, which is staff-only.
The live review portal on this site embeds a video stream. The stream player loads only on that page, only during sessions we run for clients.
3. The free tools
Our free tools (AAF Browser, aafinfo, and FinalPass) run entirely on your machine. No telemetry, no usage analytics, no crash reporting, no account, no phone-home. The files you inspect never leave your computer.
4. Email
If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you and remember that we did.
5. Who we share with
Only our hosting provider, which keeps the server logs described above. No analytics services, no advertising networks, no data brokers, and no sale of personal information.
6. Your rights
Email us to access, correct, or delete any information we hold about you, and we will answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California) you may have specific statutory rights; we honor them.
7. Retention
We keep email correspondence for as long as it is useful for support, then delete it. We hold no other personal records from your use of the website or the free tools.
8. Children
Neither the site nor the tools are directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Questions: alexey@parkstreetpost.com.
